Hello, dear author! I'm Anabel. I'm so psyched that we share one of these fandoms, and I'm so excited to see what you create! :)

What I most love to read about in fic is people who are happy, or in the process of becoming happy. This could mean having adventures, or falling in love, or being fulfilled in their career, or snuggling in bed with their partner, or fighting sky-pirates from outer space. Or perhaps all of these things in the same fanwork! This doesn’t necessarily mean unrelieved fluff – I’m a big fan of plot, smut, and adventures as well – but a focus on a character’s melancholy inner doubts (for instance), or on infidelity and betrayal and pain, wouldn’t appeal to me. I am absolutely addicted to happy endings. (Or "happy for now," in canons where outright happy endings are implausible!)

DNWs: eye injury, vomiting, infidelity, miscarriages, child or animal harm, noncon or dubcon, death of a requested character, underage (under 16), people being cornered and yelled at (they can be yelled at as long as they would be able to escape if they want/needed to), women being victimized by men without being able to fight back, women being denied agency, setting-divergence AUs (aka modern AUs, different-profession AUs, a/b/o, etc.), transphobia or anti-trans characters (even if condemned in narrative). [I welcome any of my requested characters being trans, but for personal reasons please don't have any conflict in the fic have to do with their transness.]

General note: Any and all prompts in this letter, whether general or fandom-specific, are only ideas! If nothing here inspires you, please feel free to use your own ideas. As long as you don't hit a DNW, I seriously will not mind.

SMUT LIKES:

• Most important: that everyone is having a helluva good time and fully consenting.
• Couples who are friends as well as lovers. Friendly banter, cuddling, just the general sense that both really like each other as well as wanting to tear each other’s clothes off.
• People who can't stay quiet during sex; dirty talk, moaning, little cut-off noises, reverent invocation of the lover’s name, distracted chattering, all of it!
• Women taking the lead in bed, anywhere on the spectrum between just In Charge to all the way femdom.
• Morning cuddles and/or sex.
• Silly/fun sex roleplaying.
• One partner reading to the other one in bed, which eventually gets abandoned in favor of sex.
• Eager cunnilingus – a giver who is not only super into it for their partner’s sake, but super turned on by the experience of giving it.
• Multiple orgasms, including but not limited to the point of exhaustion. Also orgasm imbalance – aka one partner gets a lot, the other only gets the one – as long as all parties enjoy this dynamic. • Both penetrative and not-penetrative sex! Sex for me definitely doesn’t have to include penetration. I also enjoy that too, but a less-conventional progression in bed is always something I’ll like.
• One partner deliberately turning on the other partner in public, especially if there's a reason they can't immediately get alone together and down to business. The teasing and heightened anticipation = A+.
• Strong people and athletic prowess, and that strength being a big turn-on in bed.
• Wall sex.
• Bathing together, and/or bathing one’s lover.
• Undressing one’s lover after a ball or fancy event; could also lead to urgent, half-clothed sex, which I also greatly enjoy.
• Face-sitting.
• Bodyswap for a day.
• Hurt/comfort, with the “hurt” only minor and the focus on the comfort. “Sprained ankle” side of the spectrum, definitely not “brutal beating” side.
• Happiness and laughter – in general, and also during sex.
• Sex that doesn’t go as planned/sexual mishaps (preferably ones that don’t have any exceptional or lasting effects, and with everything eventually ending happily)
• Tipsy sex in an established relationship
• Reunion sex
• Characters being walked in on during sex (treated comically, no angst/violence/etc.)
• “Nowadays-Vanilla sex things” being treated as transgressive and the transgression kinked on; I’m not actually into many seriously transgressive things, but I love the dynamic of pushing taboos, if that makes sense. In the historical eras and cultures of some canons, even things like cunnilingus or non-missionary positions might be “transgressive” according to their contemporary social norms (and/or according to an inexperienced character). I love the dynamic of one or both of the characters feeling Super Daring at pushing the boundaries/disobeying a taboo, and (whatever the taboo is) being an amazing experience for both.
• “Missing porn scenes”. Any missing scenes from a canon that were actually porn interludes.

Fandom 1:Kim’s Convenience (TV)

My Requested Characters: Jung Kim, Kimchee Han

What Do I Ship? Jung/Kimchee.

I ship Jung & Kimchee immensely. I am only requesting them, but feel free to bring in others, especially the rest of the Kims!

Ideas (in addition to my general & smut likes at the beginning of this letter):

Jung tells himself that the reason he’s currently in a dry spell is because he’s still crushing on Shannon, who’s dating Alejandro. But he’s gradually beginning to realize that maybe it has something to do with the weird thoughts he’s been having about Kimchee lately…

Jung and Kimchee run into each other in a gay club and it’s awkward. Until it’s not.

Jung ruins another of Kimchee’s dates by being Hot Jung, and a mock-fight/play-wrestling after the debacle turns into something more.

Jung and Kimchee theme their Halloween outfits, and only when all of Handy compliments them on their couples’ costumes does Jung realize that Handy thinks they’re dating. He’s never thought of it before and it does weird things to his stomach.

Jung and Kimchee have to share a hotel bed on a work trip. It should be totally fine, but Jung is just right there being ridiculously hot and it’s driving Kimchee crazy.

Jung and Kimchee get stuck in the supply closet at Handy, remember the time Shannon & Alejandro were hooking up in there, and start joking/horsing around – only it turns into making out for reals.

Kimchee has finally surrendered to the inevitability of the fact that he has a crush on Jung. He thinks he’s doing a good job of hiding it, but then Appa gives him the gay discount. Now Jung is looking at Kimchee weird, and Kimchee is trying not to look at Jung, and Appa is making Appa comments…

The various ways the Kim family members (and/or the Handy team) find out that Jung and Kimchee have started dating. Like, does Janet figure it out because Jung's room is too clean, almost like he's not sleeping in his own bed? Does Umma find new naked pictures while tidying up Jung & Kimchee's apartment? Does Appa catch an unguarded hair ruffle after a soccer game? Does Jung or Kimchee have a cute picture of the other/a couple picture as their lockscreen, or does a photo pop up in their photos gallery, like the time Appa saw all those photos on Jung's laptop? (We even have a candidate for a good photo!)

Jung is canonically a lady magnet, but Kimchee is the first guy he's dated or slept with. Is he shy at all? Fronting with bravado? What are the differences? And how does Kimchee help him adjust?

Five times Jung & Kimchee almost got walked in on, and one time they did.

Of all people, it’s Appa that tells Jung he has a crush on Kimchee and he should make his move. (Jung probably doesn’t take that well, but actually…)

A “what if?”/followup to any episode with great Jung & Kimchee friendship content, that tweaks it or expands it so it becomes something more.

Any other way you can think of to get Jungchee together!

Canon DNWs:

Jung not being attracted to Kimchee because he's chubby. It's okay if Kimchee is worried about that a little, but not if it's true.

What Do I Ship? Archie/Nero

This is one of my absolute dearest OTPs, and I will love anything you create in their world. I also like Fritz, Lily, Cramer, Saul, etc., but Archie and Nero have my heart. From casefic to banter to fluff to drama to curtainfic to porn, I will love it all! (Also, just a note: while I love Archie’s narration, please don’t feel like you have to pastiche it unless you want to! I would also be totally happy with third-person and/or with Wolfe POV.)

Canon DNWs:

• Please no other past or present ships for Archie or Nero, including Archie/Lily as anything other than just a short fun relationship that stayed friends afterwards.
• Please no fatshaming of any kind, even from a villain. Neutral canon-style observations are totally fine, as are positive comments. Also please no diet or weight loss comments or themes.

Ideas (in addition to my general & smut likes at the beginning of this letter):

• Archie is canonically attracted to a lot of women. When does he first realize that he’s attracted to Wolfe as well, and name the attraction to himself?
• Outsider POV – when does Fritz, or Saul, or Lily, or a villain-of-the-week realize that a) Archie and Wolfe are together, or b) that one/both of them want to be? Do they do anything to congratulate them or bring them together?
• A “missing case” in which Wolfe and Archie come to new discoveries about each other (works for both first-time fic and for established relationship).
• One of them gives the other one a hard time about something.
• Celebrating a birthday together! Whose is it and what are the gift(s)?
• A slice of casefic – not necessarily a whole long casefic, but just a moment in time with the two of them being all shippy and sweet together.
• Five times Wolfe was right about something, and one time Archie was.
• My kingdom for a first kiss!
• Any of your own happy/funny plotbunnies about Archie & Wolfe!

Agatha Christie’s Poirot (TV)

My Requested Characters: Arthur Hastings, Hercule Poirot

What Do I Ship? Hastings/Poirot

Hastings and Poirot are one of my earliest ships – I’ve shipped them ever since I was a teenager and started devouring all the Agatha Christie books I could get my hands on. I would love to read a canon-style story that took things to the next level and gave the two of them their happy ending! I love both the Suchet adaptation I’m requesting and the original books.

Ideas (in addition to my general & smut likes at the beginning of this letter):

How do they fall in love? How does the POV character realize that he’s falling in love with the other? How do they take the next step and bravely acknowledge their feelings?

Perhaps one of them is put in danger by a murderer they’re investigating, and the other has to both rescue him and face up to their own more-than-friendly feelings at the same time. Perhaps Hastings finds that he isn’t really interested in redheads anymore, and has to figure out why that is. Perhaps Poirot realizes Hastings’ feelings long before he himself does (Hastings being generally a bit oblivious), and has to wait for him to catch up. Or perhaps it’s a role reversal and Poirot is the oblivious one for once!

I am totally happy with shortfic and by fics that start in medias res - I am not expecting a huge long casefic by any means. From casefic to banter to fluff to drama to curtainfic to porn, I will love it all! And if you have any fluffy/happy plotbunnies for these two that highlight intimacy and affection, I will love those too!! :)

What Do I Ship? Hart/Robin

I just read this book and I really liked it! But like with so many books, I found myself longing to read more about after the happy ending. It wasn’t abrupt, exactly, and we did get a lovely little epilogue, but dammit, I just love intimate affectionate happy people being happy together! (And porn.)

Ideas (in addition to my general & smut likes at the beginning of this letter):

• Hart gives Robin a pop quiz on what he’s learned about the brewing industry. While providing distraction so it’s a proper test.
• Hart and Robin play piquet for Other Stakes.
• Alice learns some things on her travels, and not just mathematics. And when she comes home for a visit, she realizes all of a sudden what Uncle Hart and Robin are to each other, and couldn’t be happier for them.
• Banter that leads to the bedroom (or to the nearest available surface).
• Hart’s first time bottoming (it’s criminal that the text showed us how much he wanted it and then didn’t deliver!)
• Anyone in their circle finding out and being 100% accepting (period realism is overrated).

And if you have any fluffy/happy plotbunnies for these two that highlight intimacy and affection, I will love those too!!

Fandom 5:

Sense and Sensibility (1995)

My Requested Characters: Margaret Dashwood

What Do I Ship? Margaret/OFC

S&S may just be my favorite movie of all time. I just adore it. Elinor Dashwood is one of my favorite characters in all of fiction, and I ship her with both Edward and Colonel Brandon.

This year, though, what I’m really hungering to read about is Margaret! She is so delightful in the movie in her expanded role, and I want to know where you think life might take her! What adventures is she having, ten years on?

Does she travel, and get to see all the places in her beloved atlas? Does she become fascinated by history or math or science or botany or some other field? Does she persuade one of her relations to teach her fencing For Reals? Does she become a political firebrand and secretly publish inciendary pamphlets?

Does she find that men are great as chums, like Edward, but she isn’t that way inclined – and then one day she meets Miss X, and everything falls into place? I would adore a story about how Margaret fell in love with a woman, and/or the adventures they had together.

If any of Margaret’s relatives find out about her relationship, please have them be accepting. Period-realism is overrated. :)

Also, canon-divergence AUs with the movie’s ending are fine – Marianne/Willoughby and Elinor/Brandon works for me too (although I’m happy with the canon pairings as well). As long as everyone’s happy, including Margaret, I’m good. :)

My Requested Characters: Harriet Vane, Peter Wimsey

What Do I Ship? Harriet/Peter

THESE TWO. Harriet is one of the great literary loves of my life. She’s very special to me, and I’ve read my copy of Gaudy Night until it has literally fallen apart. So basically the only thing you have to do here is to write a story that shows her Harriet-ness off and has her happy in love, and you will have a blissfully content receipient. :) While I’ve requested book-canon, I do adore Harriet Walter’s Harriet, so if you want to take inspiration from her as well I would be more than happy with that.

This year, what I hunger for most is “after the happy ending” fic full of intimacy and affection. I would absolutely ADORE porn, but if that’s not in your wheelhouse I would also love milder-rated stories.

Ideas (in addition to my general & smut likes at the beginning of this letter):

Little adventures, little domestic mysteries, domestic snippets, morning cuddling, Peter getting up in the night to rock the baby, picnics, singing in the bath, visits to the Dowager Duchess, flirting in front of Helen, getting teased by Saint-George, one of them taking care of the other when they’re sick, little thoughtful favors they do for each other that show their love, anniversary-fic over the years.

And if you have any fluffy/happy plotbunnies for these two that highlight intimacy and affection, I will love those too!! Canon-divergence AUs of all flavors also pique my interest (as long as Harriet & Peter are together and happy).
